The Big Fun Cardigan is knitted in separate pieces up to the underarm. The top part is knitted all together, to avoid bulky seams. Finally, you’ll pick up stitches along the front opening and knit the ribbed edging.

Since you’ll have a large number of stitches on your needles for working the yoke and the rib edging, circular needles are used - however, you will be working back and forth on them (like with straight needles), rather than working in the round.
