A Beginning Knitter who knows how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off will enjoy knitting this pattern.

These man-sized fingerless mitts are quick to knit and would make a great last minute gift for all the men on your list.

Using soft, stretchy yarn makes them uni-size, but try going up or down a needle size if you need the pair smaller or larger.

The hand warmers are worked flat on straight needles and then seamed. You may knit them in solid or two colors. Any bulky weight yarn will work. It takes about 130 yard to knit a pair. The ones I knit with my hand spun yarn looks rustic and vintage.

Just what he needs for that cold steering wheel or a run to the mail box!
