This pattern needs one skein of Big Singles by Martin’s Lab. Those vivid, gorgeous colours were just yelping at me to become winter hats. They are reversible too :-)

The cast on method used here offers you a very elastic and comfortable edge, appropriate for this kind of garments.

The two models shown are for my boys; you agree I can see them in the crowd or on the ski slope in a flash?

One size, fits until 58 cm / 22.8” head circumference.

Samples worked in Martin’s Lab Big Singles Super bulky (80% 1-ply superwash Merino, 20% Nylon, 70 m / 77 y per 100 g), colourways Caterpillar and Understory.
