Big Heart Pattern –

Knit loved ones this beautiful cosy heart blanket using only simple knit and purl stitches.

Using only knit and purl stitches this is a perfect project for a beginner knitter, or a more relaxing one for an experienced knitter.

The pattern has a simple garter border to the edge, with a large central heart motif that will be sure to make your nursery look complete.

When completed, the blanket will approximately measure 24” x 24”, based on using 4mm needles and 200 grams of baby DK yarn. This is just a guide- the pattern can be knitted on any wool weight or needle size of your choice, just ensure you have enough of your chosen yarn to complete your project.

Tension
Stocking Stitch: 22 sts = 10cms/4 inches. 28 rows = 10cms/ 4 inches.

You will need to know the 4 most common knitting techniques; how to cast on, knit, purl and cast off.
