These colourful chunky humptys look lovely in a child’s room, and are super bright and cuddly!

The perfect size for kids to cuddle, the pattern is suitable for knitters with just a little experience. This project is a nice introduction to colourwork, with step-by-step illustrated instructions to take you through making the colourful ‘jumper’ section. Humpty is worked flat on straight knitting needles, so no working in the round is needed to make him.

To knit your humpty you will need: chunky yarn of your choice (You can use any you have in your stash, recommendations below)
You’ll also need long straight 4.5mm knitting needles (33cm is perfect), a darning needle, toy stuffing and a pair of 9mm black toy safety eyes (or you can embroider the eyes, recommended if the toy is for a young child)

Humpty measures 55cm tall (21.5 inches) from toes to top of his hat when completed
