This big knit sweater is a perfect beginner’s sweater, and my favorite kind of sweater to make and wear. It fits oversized and is not shaped, so it has that flattering boyfriend look. It doesn’t take long to make, either!

Materials:

  • 4 skeins of Cascade Magnum 100% wool.
  • US 17 needles, preferably 14”.
  • US 17 dpns.
  • Waste yarn
  • Large darning needle for sewing seams

(Sweater is knit flat from the bottom up. Measurements are for a S/M. The four pieces include front, back, and 2 sleeves. You’ll need to pick up stitches for the ribbed neck, but it’s super simple with dpns!)
