Bigger heads means bigger brains right? That’s what I like to tell myself. If your head has a circumference of 25 – 27 inches, this is your hat! This classic hat has a quicker decrease, so it is particularly good for heads with that slope in the back, with bigger facial structure.

I did not gauge this pattern, but if you measure your hairline around your head, it should give you an idea of whether this hat will be more fitted or slouchy (24-28 inches). If you use a lighter chunky wool, this may also decrease your hat size. Depending on how warm you want this hat to be, you can use 1-2 strands of bulky weight held double, or 2-3 strands of worsted held together. Slight variants in colour can create some interesting effects! This is a great stashbuster:)
