Straightforward pattern to knit a big panda teddy bear wearing a slightly too-small-for-his-tummy vest. Knitted in either Robin Chunky or Hayfield Bonus Chunky, you can also make him in different colours if you want a brighter teddy bear!

You will need:

Two balls of chunky yarn (one black, one white), plus:

4mm knitting needles

Toy stuffing

Black, white and red felt

A pair of 9mm black safety eyes with plastic backs

Black, white and red cotton.

Darning needle

Metal sewing needle
