The Big Sky Quilt Blanket is a fun and easy colorwork project that brightens up any room. Enjoy making the meditative squares and then seam them together creating a fun and intricate looking design with a simple execution. This crocheted quilt-like blanket looks complicated but is made up entirely of half double crochet stitches with a single crochet border on each square and a crab stitch (backwards single crochet) border around the entire blanket. Made in dk weight yarn, it works up quickly. You can make it to your own desired size by adding more or less rows.
