This simple cowl uses one hank of Plymouth Baby Alpaca Grande and a size 11 circular needle in 16” length (you could magic loop if you prefer). I created this pattern about 5 years ago as a tool to help newer knitters practice “reading” their knitting. Sections of knit and purl stitches are staggered to make a big zig pattern (so named as it is half of a zig zag). Also makes a great quick gift knit project! Enjoy!
