Baby, it’s cold outside, but layers can be pretty!

Please check my blog for a list of shops that carry my patterns.

If you purchased yarn at the 2008 Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival or the New Hampshire Festival in May, please note the pattern correction on my blog! Any patterns purchased after May 12, 2008 will include the correction! Sorry about that y’all!

This double layered scarf with a delicate lace edge can be snuggled close to your neck to keep any chill out. Its unique construction reminds me of a reflection. It is worked lengthwise in one piece, the top reflecting the bottom, with a drawstring casing in the middle. I’ve included sash instructions, but you can replace this with your own fabric sash to add even more personal style to this fun scarf.

A bit about Bijou Basin Ranch:
Established in 2005, Bijou Basin Ranch is a small family owned and run yak ranch located just outside the small town of Elbert on the open plains of the Colorado outback about 65 miles southeast of Denver. Their primary goal is to produce and sell premium yak fiber products such as rovings, yarn, and yarn blends. To do this they raise registered full blooded yaks that have superior glossy coats which are harvested annually. They supplement the fiber they harvest from their yaks by buying quality yak fiber from other yak ranchers across the country. In addition to their top quality yak fiber products they also sell breed stock, yak meat and other yak products.
