I originally designed my Billie Beanie for my prem baby collection and have finally got around to writing it for larger sizes. I love garter stitch for it’s modern yet timeless feel and pure merino wool will keep a little one cosy on chilly days. It’s a very simple make that even a novice can knit. The contrast trim is optional but very easy and adds a little finishing touch.

The pattern is sized from newborn up to 1-2years and knit on 2 straight needles and seamed.
