Uses 9 balls of Yarnsmiths Lagoon DK (5 shades)
I wanted to use a largish and simple single colour motif to show off this beautiful
variegated yarn. Bored of squares I chose circles. As it grew, I realised it reminded me
of the stalls of painted plates we saw in a bazaar in Morocco. That in turn reminded me
of the little belly dancing costume making business my best friend Sarah had, called
Billie’s Bazaar. Billie was Sarah’s nick name at school, she was a Rockabilly.
Sadly Sarah passed away suddenly on Christmas day night 2017, from
cardiomyopathy. I miss her very much. I think the name is just perfect, and I thank her
family who’ve giving me their blessing to use it.
