Billy Bob & Rose is a gorgeous couple! Billy Bob has a playful fringe going all the way around the yoke, and Rose has a Selbu Rose on each shoulder. They are both chunky, open-fronted garments, perfect as cardigans in winter and light jackets in the summer.

They are knit top-down, making it easy to adjust length of body and sleeve. You start with a crochet cast-on, and also work crochet edgings around body and sleeves. Billy Bob’s fringe is added after knitting; the Selbu roses can be done as colorwork or, if you’re not comfortable purling in colorwork, duplicate stitched on later – the pattern provides instructions for both.

Fit
Billy Bob and Rose are designed to be worn as open cardigans with 1-4 inches positive ease. They are worked top-down and have a rather tight neckline to prevent the cardigan from falling off the shoulder.

Billy Bob: 400-450-500 (550-600-650) 750-850 meters super bulky yarn (60 meters / 100 gr)
Rose: 350-400-450 (500-550-600) 700-800 meters super bulky yarn in main color and 100 meters in the contrasting color.

Please note, if you are holding 2 yarns together, that yardage given is for combined yarn. If your size calls for 840 meters, it requires 840 meters of each of the yarns.
