Billy the Bean Bag Bronco
Calling all yarn scraps!! Billy the tiny horse is the perfect project to round up all those leftover pieces ranging around your stash.
Billy the Bronco is a wild guy. He loves roaming the mountainside and is always game for a picnic. He also loves to ride in the car and one of his favorite places to be is in a pocket. :)
The example Billy was knitted in Cascade Sierra yarn (a light worsted weight) with US size 6 (4.0mm) needles. He’s about 5 inches from his nose to his tail, and 7 inches from his ears to his hooves. Since there is no gauge for Billy, you can choose your own yarn weight and needle size. I recommend a needle size that is on the lower range of the suggested needle size for the yarn you select. This will make a tighter fabric to guard against stuffing leaks.
The purchase of this pattern entitles you to make as many Billys for personal use as you’d like. Please do not reproduce and/or give out the pattern, or sell your finished products. Knitting Billys for charity or for donation is great, especially if they are for children.
