Introduction:
This scarf was designed as a prayer scarf for a confirmand in our church’s upcoming confirmation. It contains the Lord’s Prayer in binary code where knits are 0s and purls are 1s. It also contains three crosses made of fish. There is a garter stitch border surrounding.

Materials:
225 yards (205 grams) of worsted weight yarn: Knitpicks Upcycled Alpaca double held
double held =2 strands held together knit as 1
US size 9 (5.5mm) knitting needles

Gauge:
14 stitches by 21 rows to make 4” by 4” square in stockinette blocked

Finished Dimensions:
55” long by 9” wide
