This pattern spells out the word LOVE in Binary Alphabet and has a ♥ incorporated into it although that can be omitted by just knitting or purling across the rows that feature the pattern (Rows 5-27). This will result in pics shown on the pattern page.

The main size will comfortably fit a female, the large will fit a male or have a slouchy feel for females (or those with a smaller head). The attached photographs show one standard size in pink. grey and white, one slouch size in same colours and two mens’ size. All are adjustable to your own size, this pattern is mainly to spell the word LOVE ☺

I didn’t use a specific gauge and on some that I made I mixed aran/worsted weight yarns with DK and it didn’t make a lot of difference.

I also didn’t weigh any of the yarns before I started but the hat only weighs 30-40g so I would suggest 20-25g of each yarn will be plenty ☺
