Biomechanic
This cowl is made in two pieces - the body, then the bottom cabled trim, which is sewn on later. The pattern includes an exact seam ratio recipe for accomplishing that perfect join.
There is also a tutorial on my blog, wrongsidefacing.blogspot.com, and the pattern includes charted pattern as well as written instructions.
