This is a simple two color knitting project worked in the round. The main color is worked in cream and the contrasting color in brown which I wound onto a bobbin before beginning the project.
I found this really helped manage the two colors and avoided any tangles. The happy little branch was attached by picking up and knitting stitches on the outside surface of the cozy. Then, the leaf was worked onto the end of the branch.
