Skill Level: Experienced

This is the ultimate outdoor hat. Front and Back Post Stitches create an awesome ribbed texture, on the band and on the upper part of the hat. The Fisherman’s wool is great because of the lanolin coating, that makes it slightly water repellent. This is not a slouchy hat, but a fitted cap made for guys to wear as they work and play outside.

I had to get creative with the decreases, this is in no way a beginner pattern.
