About the pattern
The Birch Vest is a light flowy vest that wears like a tank. The name of the pattern is inspired by the way bark on birch trees curls and flows. This vest is versatile in that it can be worn mostly open for a flowy Summer look as well as with every closure done up for a perfect top for transitional seasons like Fall and Spring. The pattern is worked on 4.5mm needles with simple techniques making it a very fast and easy knit for all skill levels. The pattern is worked flat starting with the individual front panels. Then the front panels are combined to work the back all in one piece leaving just the sides to seam.
