10mm Safety Eyes*
Fiberfill
Safety eyes are not recommended for children under 5 so if you intend for this Bird to be a toy instead of decoration I would choose to sew on eyes with embroidery thread.

Abbreviations: 

 CH  = Chain 

DC = Double Crochet 

HDC = Half-Double Crochet

INC = Increase (Increase = 2 Sc in same ST)

MR= Magic Ring

SC  = Single Crochet
