You will have a great deal of flexibility on the motifs you incorporate into your blanket as I have provided charts for 6 different motifs.

The skill level is beginner as the only stitches used are knits and purls. It does take some concentration when doing the charts to ensure you are following the rows for each motif accurately.

When reading the charts, read the Right Side rows (odd numbered rows) from right to left, and the Wrong Side rows (even numbered rows) from left to right. Use the legend at the bottom of each chart as a guide for which stitches to knit and which stitches to purl.

When your blanket is completed, there may be some slight puckering but this will flatten out when you lightly block the blanket.

It is recommended that you count each row as you knit to keep track of where you are in the pattern. This is especially important for the charts.

Charts for the motifs supplied separately: Flamingo, Ostrich, Toucan, Owl, Stork, Emu
