You can make this fun little brooch in one evening!

The project is so easy to make and also gives you a chance to master your embroidery skills as well. You can be a beginner (I am, I am definitely a beginner in the amazing world of embroidery) but I please, don’t feel afraid- you will find everything you need in the pattern.

To make this brooch you will need to know basic crochet stitches: single crochet, singe crochet decrease.

You will need:

•fingering weight yarn

• hook B/ 2.25 mm

• embroidery floss in 3 colors

• piece of felt

•brooch pin

• stitch marker, scissors, needle

You will be using the following embroidery stitches: straight stitch, woven wheel rose, French knots.

The finished brooch is about 3 inches long when made with fingering weight yarn. The brooch looks best when it is crocheted firmly. You use a crochet loosely, go down a hook size.
This pattern is written in US terms.
