The Bird Island Hat is knit in the round from the rolled edge to the top. It has two colors that are interconnected with Fibonacci sequence numbered stripes.
Circular needles or double pointed needles are used for the lower part of the hat and then double pointed needles are used for the crown.
This hat pattern will work with any worsted weight yarn that has the same gauge.
The hat was designed to have 2 inches of negative ease for each size.
