The fair isle detail of these leg warmers was inspired by the William Morris print of the Strawberry Thief. These are warm and fun leg warmers that can be worn casually or with a fancy outfit!

The pattern is for one size with a circumference of 12” (30.5cm) and length of 13” (33cm). If a larger circumference is desired then the gauge can be adjusted or extra stitches inserted.

These leg warmers are worked in the round with double pointed needles (5mm, 8US) and Aran weight yarn. The photographed sample used Jamieson & Smith Shetland Aran in Yellow and Navy.

There are endless potential great colour combinations and other types of yarn that would suite this pattern!
