This pattern is written in standard American (US) terms, in the English language, with step-by-step instruction and plenty pictures for successful completing of your work (15 pages). Suggested material for the purse
Yarn Weight: Worsted / 10 ply (9 wpi)
e.g. Sugar ‘n Cream Solids and Denim by Lily
Yardage: 120 yards (110 meters)
Unit weight: 70 grams (2.47 ounces)
Gauge (crochet tension): 13 SC – 14 rows = 4”(10 cm)
Fibers: 100% Cotton
Texture: 4 single plies, S-plied, non-mercerized
Colors: Hot Pink 01740, Mod Blue 18111, Hot Green 01712, Rose Pink 00046, Light blue (Robin’s egg) 01205. You will need about 70 grams totally.
Hook: I used a hook 5 mm (U.S. hook 8)
Other materials: black mushroom button size 5 mm, Toho beads-cubes size 6/0 and beads size 8/0 - you could buy it e.g.on e-Bay, common sewing threads, and needle, 3 pieces of buttons average 10 mm, one flower button average 20 mm.
The size of finished purse depends on used material and your style of crocheting.
My purse’s measurement: 18 cm / 7 inches height; 18 cm / 7 inches width
Level: beginner/intermadiate, basic skills are needed.
You should know, how to crochet these stitches
Chain (CH), Slip stitch (SlSt), Single crochet (SC), Double crochet (DC), Half double crochet (HDC)
