This pattern was originally designed and released from Seattle Yarn for the 2024 Puget Sound LYS Tour.

The Bird’s Eye View Bandana Cowl was inspired by the perspective of a bird looking down at the windows and lines of a cityscape. Picture yourself strolling through the streets wrapped in this cozy yet featherlight cowl year-round. Made with lightweight yarn and openwork stitches, it’s breathable and sure to become your go-to accessory for every adventure.

Skill = Intermediate pattern

YARN
Fingering weight yarn (weight 1) ~ 435 yds / 398 m
This design benefits from some structured fiber. I do not suggest any yarn with silk or anything too drape.
Estimates include an additional 5% buffer in the yardage calculations.
