Birds in Flight uses a variety of techniques to interest you. The “flock of birds” is knit first using slipped strands caught together to create the birds. Once complete, stitches are picked up to make the border.
After some simple stripes an intarsia diamond pattern is worked using a chart, followed by a ribbed edge.
