These cuff-down socks feature a zigzag lace pattern that looks like birds the way kids draw them flying in the sky. The lace birds are set off by seed stitch diamonds and flanked by seed stitch borders. It’s a warm, nature-inspired design that works for every season. A short-row heel and easy-to-follow charted design are simple enough for a new sock knitter to execute and still interesting for the advanced knitter. You’ll be surprised at how quickly they knit up
