Bird's Nest Bag for Yarn Ends
I love to share my loose fibres and left-over yarn ends with the nesting birds at this time of year. They love them!
This is a really, really quick and easy for a little mesh sack to hang in a tree, from a fence or from your bird table. It is refillable and uses very little yarn to make - any small ball of DK from your stash will do. As an added bonus … it is FREE! Feel free to share/use/ignore it as you wish :-)
For those of you who are concerned about leaving scraps out for the birds. I have been told it is find as long as they are cut short but too short and you use natural fibres rather than acrylics (which won’t degrade).
