Birds on a Wire
Birds on a Wire is a slouchy hat worked in a beautiful 3-colour textured stitch pattern.
The RS (purl side) of the fabric has a very interesting sculptured surface while the WS (knit side) has the appearance of embossed spots. The hat is reversible so can be worn with either side outwards.
The body of the hat is worked with the WS (knit side) facing.
The hat is knit in the round from the bottom up, the crown shaping is worked in stockinette stitch.
