Birdy Stole is stockinette stitch stole with charted blocks of bird and flower patterns.
Provisional Cast On method is used. Edging on one side is knitted right after knitting the body of the stole. Edging on the other side is knitted in the opposite direction after moving stitches from wasted yarn to the needles.

Instuctions are written. Bird, flower, and edging patterns are charted. The whole schematic picture of the stole is included.

Size of the stole is adjustable. You may knit 350/430/510 (or more) rows of the body. There are also 18 rows of edging on each side of the stole.

Finished Measurements depends on how loosely you knit and yarn weight. Here is average measurements for 510 rows:
80”/200 cm length.
20”/50 cm width.

Gauge:
21 sts x 25 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Stockinette st., after blocking. Gauge is not crucial, it helps you to calculate the size of the whole wrap.

Pattern includes instructions for blocking stole using wire.
