Birkenbush Hat is using the playful bluebell and bud cables from Birkenbush Pullover.

The instructions are for 3 sizes in DK weight yarn to fit a 12 month child, adult and large adult head.

Most yarn types are suitable. Yarns with good stitch definition are recommended.

Other materials: US 4 (3.5mm) and US 6 (4.0mm) circular needle 16” (40cm) long. 1 set of US 6 (4.0mm) double pointed needles.
1 cable needle, 1 stitch marker, tapestry needle.

The hat is worked in the round on circular needles. The crown is finished with a set of double pointed needles.

The instructions are in form of charts and fully written. It contains cable and mock cable patterns and twist stitches.
