What’s a birthday without cake?! It’s hard to resist these adorable, brightly colored cup cakes on these sugary sweet socks. Designed
to help celebrate our specials days, these would be perfect for a friend’s birthday gift or as a gift to ourselves, to celebrate turning
another year older. A fun way to spread joy without perhaps the short-lived sugar rush! I created these with some gorgeous speckled yarn that felt like a party in itself. With every
stitch, I was excited to see what color was going to pop up next!
These socks are knit from the top down with a ribbed cuff, heel flap and gusset. They have a colorwork motif with large, colorful cupcakes on the leg. There is a little bit of colorwork before the toe that mirrors the borders of the cupcakes on the leg. You can use duplicate stitch for the details to avoid knitting with many
colors in one round!
