Bishie was created for TwistX 2020 in collaboration with La Maison Tricotée, a local yarn store in Montreal.

Bishie is a super addictive quick knit featuring stranded colourwork, knit and purl texture and a flower stitch. The super cozy brim is created by folding the ribbing towards the inside of the hat. The cast-on edge is then picked up while knitting so that you don’t have to sew anything after finishing. If you’re like me, you won’t be able to put it down!

Hat circumference : 18 ¾“ (19 ¾, 21”) // 48 (50, 53) cm.
Hat length : 9.5” for all sizes.
This hat is meant to be worn with 2-3” // 5-8 cm of negative ease.
To fit an actual head of 20 ¾ - 21 ¾. (21 ¾ - 22 ¾, 23 - 24)” // 53 - 55 (55 - 58, 58 - 61) cm.

Suggested yarn
Pénélope by De Rerum Natura or any other merino DK weight yarn.
colour A : sauge
colour B : crépuscule
colour C : bois flotté
If you are using different colours, I recommend a high contrast between yarn B and the two other colours.

Bishie est une tuque très addictive et très rapide à tricoter. L’amalgame de jacquard, de texture et de point de fleur lui confère un caractère unique. Le douillet rebord replié est créé en repliant les côtes vers l’intérieur et en relevant et tricotant les mailles du montage. Vous n’aurez donc aucune couture à faire à la finition! Si vous êtes comme moi, vous serez incapable de la déposer!
