There is something about fall that makes me just want to curl up on the porch swing with yarn and hook and try to capture the colors and sights of it all. The second I saw this Caron brand yarn in the color Gold Ombré, I knew it was destined to be a pumpkin. And I am so in love with how it turned out! This little pumpkin is so easy to make, no gauge is necessary, beginner friendly, and you can easily make it larger just by adding stitches and\or going up a hook size. Although the smaller hook size is recommended to keep the stuffing from showing through.

Pattern as written and using the same yarn as I did creates a pumpkin approx. 2 1/2 inches high by 4 inches wide. The perfect size to group a few together in different colors for decorating a table or mantle. You can make a larger pumpkin simply by adding more bobbles per row and more row repeats.
