This sock pattern is designed to be made with 20 x 5g 4ply minis, however it can be made with any yarn you have, provided you have about 80-100g of it in at least 2 colours. The samples shown were made with 20 x 5g minis from Eden Cottage Yarns.

I recommend an afterthought heel however any short row heel will work.

They will fit about a 8.5” circumference foot, however it is easy to adjust by removing or adding a repeat or going up/down a needle size, I’m assuming you’re familiar enough with sock knitting you have an idea of how many stitches you need for your feet.

Pattern is written for a 2.25mm needle to get about 32 sts over 4” or any needle to get gauge, I wouldn’t recommend going larger than a 2.5mm unless you tend to knit tightly as it may make the fabric of the sock too loose.

You will need a stitch marker for your beginning of round and a few grams of scrap yarn to put in for your afterthought heel.
