Say hello to Bitsy the Bee, a lovely bee who can’t wait to hang out with you and her best friend Lizzy the Ladybug. Bitsy’s scarf is worked in rows and her boots in the round, and both can be removed. To finish her romantic look, Bitsy holds a pair of heart balloons to gift to her best friend Lizzy the Ladybug.

The main part of this project is worked in rounds so you might want to use a stitch marker to mark the end of each round. There is no specific gauge for this project, just try to keep it tight and even throughout each piece. Bitsy the Bee measures approx. 20cm (7.8in), when using the same yarn/tools as indicated below and working with the “x” single crochet technique (yarn under, yarn over). Make sure to also start the other stitches with yarn under to keep the same tension throughout.
