Bitty Beasley the Bee
Meet Bitty Beasley, a little bee who dreams of flying all over the world in search of the most beautiful flowers.
The pattern is 8-pages long and and is written in English using US crochet terminology. It contains plenty of progress photos and step-by-step instructions to stitch this busy bee.
Bitty Beasley the Bee is an intermediate-level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, slip stitches, increases and decreases, color changes, working in the top and bottom of a chain stitch, and crocheting in the front loops of a finished piece.
He can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through. My Beasley is made using a 4.0 (G) hook and worsted weight yarn using 3 colors. The finished toy is 4.5” (11cm) long using the listed yarn. The size of yours may vary depending on your hook and yarn choices.
