BIVOUAC is a basic hat with a hipster and sailor touch, easy to slip to your bag whenever you need it. Knitted entirely in rib, it can be worn on both sides and is available in a short version for a slightly slouchy effect or with the band folded up. This hat is knitted in the round and seamless. It is as nice to knit as it is to wear by the whole family !

SIZES : child 1 (2 - 3) adult (S - M - L)

Circumference approx 15 (16.5 - 18) (19.75 - 21.25 - 23) in or 38,5 (41,5 - 46) 50 (54 - 58) cm.
Final height short version : 7 (8 - 8.75) 9.5 (10 - 10.25) in or 18 (20 - 22) 24 (25 - 26) cm.
Final height long version : 9 (10 - 10.5) 11.75 (12 - 12) in or 23 (25 - 27) 30 (31 - 31) cm.

GAUGE : 21 sts x 32 rows for 4x4 in or 10 x 10 cm in 2/1 ribbing slightly stretched.

YARN : The hat is knitted with two yarn of fingering weight yarn held in together.
Short version : approximately 170 (200 - 245) 285 (325 - 365) yards or 155 (180 - 220) 260 (295 - 330) m.
Long version : approximately 230 (250 - 300) 360 (400 - 435) yards or 210 (225 - 270) 325 (365 - 395) m.

NOTIONS : Circular needles sizes or DPN’s 3,75mm/US 5, tapestry needle, 1 stitch marker.

BIVOUAC est un bonnet basique avec un petit côté hipster et marin à glisser dans son sac et à sortir dès que le besoin s’en fait sentir. Tricoté entièrement en côtes, il peut se porter des deux côtés et est proposé en version courte pour un effet un peu slouchy ou avec la bande repliée. Il se tricote en rond de bas en haut sans coutures. Aussi cool à tricoter qu’à porter par toute la famille !
