Leaves adorn the circular yoke of this autumn color cardigan.

This cardigan is designed for 1/3 scale curvy dolls that are 55 – 60 cm (22 – 23 inches) tall with bust-waist-hips measurements of up to 24 – 16 – 25 cm (9.5 – 6.5 – 10 inches), such as Smart Dolls and the less expensive UCaanan dolls.

The cardigan is knit using fingering weight yarn. The body is knit flat, top-down, and the sleeves are knit in the round. A garter stitch border at the start and end of each row creates a button or snap placket.

Increases create a yoke - where stranded colorwork is added - until stitches are set aside for sleeves. Additional stitches are cast on under the sleeves to connect the fronts to the back. Body shaping at the sides occurs. Ribbing completes the body.

The set aside and cast on stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are knit two-at-a-time in the round using Magic Loop, or separately with DPNs, and end with ribbing.
