A cozy sweater is the perfect thing to wear while drinking cocoa by the fire.

This sweater is designed for 1/3 scale curvy dolls that are 55 – 60 cm (22 – 23 inches) tall with bust-waist-hips measurements of 24 – 16 – 25 cm (9.5 – 6.5 – 10 inches).

Knit with less than a skein of fingering or sock weight yarn, it is designed as a cardigan-in-reverse for dressing without having to remove the doll’s head, or for a doll with a fixed head.

The body is knit flat top-down and the sleeves are knit in the round. A garter stitch border at the start and end of each row creates a snap placket.

Raglan increases create a yoke until stitches are set aside for sleeves. Additional stitches are cast on under the sleeves to connect the front to the backs. Body shaping at the sides occurs. Ribbing completes the body.

The set aside and cast on stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which can be knit two-at-a-time in the round using Magic Loop or with DPNs, and end with ribbing.
