You’ll receive one digital pattern with sizing from newborn to adults. The pattern features all abbreviations and skills explained in the notes. It is written to be easy to understand and customized so have fun with this one.

The cables featured are antler cables. These cables shift slightly as you work the hat for a delicate yet sturdy design. The smaller cables also mean less gaps so a bonus feature of the hat is that it’s warm.

The pattern includes two different options for the brim. You can knit a simple brim, or you can knit a folded brim. This second option makes the hat a bit warmer and holds it’s shape a bit more.

The suggested yarn is acrylic meaning you can gently wash and dry the hat. I tend to hand wash my acrylic hats just in case. I pick this yarn because it’s soft not scratchy, easy to wash and care for, and affordable. This keeps the hat attainable for knitters but also makes it great to gift! And this close to Christmas you can whip up a few to give this year!

You need US Size five circular knitting needles or double pointed needles. The pompom is optional. My son loves them, my husband…does not.
