Bjørnø is an easy and free pattern for a simple textured scarf with fringe.

20 cm / 7-8 inches wide
1 meter / 40 inches long

100 g of light fingering weight held double or a single strand of sport/dk weight.

The scarf can be knit in many different kinds of yarn and at many gauges. Just remember to cast on less stitches for a thicker yarn if you use a different yarn weight than the one recommended and more for a thinner (always using an even number of stitches).
