Houndstooth stitch was and is one of my lovely stitch. I love the result of crocheting that stitch because is solid and make warm clothes. Although I love the mosaic result with the two different colors. I used black and white colors for me. For my little twins nieces for Christmas gifts, they prefered red/white and green/red.
