Black Cat Table Runner
Decorating your home for the holidays can be so fun! Add this black cat table runner to your grouping for a unique and spooky base to your table decor. It features two black cats mirroring each other on the ends and the word “BOO” in the middle. The built-in border makes this quick and easy to finish.
This is a crochet filet technique. The pattern consists of open and closed squares that make an image. I will give you written directions to get you started and then you will follow a separate pdf chart to finish each row. There are also photos at the end to assist you.
I used Premier Cotton Fair yarn. It is a cotton/acrylic blend, great for home decor. If you want to use your table runner for hot pans or candles, I recommend using 100% cotton yarn. My runner measures about 8.5 “ x 31”. You can use doily thread to make a smaller rectangle doily or you can use medium weight cotton for a larger centerpiece.
