Black Country Gangster
This figure is based on urban street gangs in Birmingham from 19th century to first world world.
The figure is styled wearing a black overcoat, grey waistcoat, grey trousers, white shirt, white scarf, grey cap black shoes. The image shows the cap pulled low covering the eyes for a moody look. The cap and nose are slightly off centre to create the desired look.
The look has been made popular by Peaky Blinder TV series.
The knitting pattern is suitable for a beginner who can cast on/off - knit/ purl - increase stitches. The pattern is 2 page PDF with row by row instructions and colour photos.
Project takes approx 6 hrs and image shown uses 100% acrylic dk yarn and 4.0mm needles to create a figure 11 inches tall.
