I think most of us are familiar with the Beverly Hillbillies song about black gold and Texas tea. You may be singing it to yourself right now! When I saw this color from Iron Wheel Farms I knew if had to be part of Armchair Travels 2018 and our trip to Texas.

I wanted the mitts to have both texture and stockinette and keep them on the easy to knit end of the spectrum and show off the yarn. Both left and right are the same. The thumb adds a finished look to the mitts. Written instructions are included.
