,,Black Ocean“ ist entstanden auf Norderney im Mai 2015, als ich mit meiner lieben Freundin Christine im Urlaub war. Ein Tuch mit einer außergewöhnlichen Form, ich liebe verkürzte Reihen und darum dreht es sich auch bei diesem Tuch.

200g Lanartus Fine Merino Art (Farbverlaufsgarn)
200g schwarze Unisono von Zitron
4 er Rundstricknadeln 3 - 4 St. mindestens 1,20m
20 silberne Sicherheitsnadeln
20 schwarze Sicherheitsnadeln
hilfreich wären noch zwei Maschenmarkierer

“Black Ocean” is a rather unusual short-row-shaped shawl I thought up while vacationing on the isle of Norderney in Mai 2015 with my dear friend Christine.

All steps are described row-by-row in great detail on 10 pages, with lots of accompanying progress photographs, and there’s an additional link to a video included where I demonstrate my special way for an elastic bind-off.

Finished size:

Length 155 cm [61 in], width 40 cm [15.75 in], measured in the center and after blocking.

You will need
Yarn:

– Multicolor: Lanartus Fine Merino Art, 200 g [7 oz] total

– Solid: “Unisono” by Zitron in colorway Black, 200 g [7 oz]\ total

Needles and Notions:

– at least 3 to 4 long circular needles 4.0 mm [US6], 120 cm [48 in] long

– (20) silver-colored safety pins

– (20) black-colored safety pins

– (1) stitch marker (optional)

– (1) tapestry needle

Stitches used: knit and purl, M1 and ktog
